Threshold
A world premiere of new work by UK artists Studio Vertigo. Threshold is a large-scale immersive artwork. Its sweeping curves are highlighted with a sequence of high-resolution blended and coloured light that slowly flows through the artwork as visitors walk around it.
The sculpture appears to be in a state of constant transformation, its free-flow of curves are set within a functional and orderly working of lines. Its elegant form provides a large dynamic sculpture during the day.
Viewers are invited to walk around the artwork to experience its sculptural form and changing profiles. Threshold uses 150 metres of video pixel bars to create complex and dynamic lighting effects.
