In 2022, Culture Creative took on the creation and management of an event to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the fire that almost destroyed Seaton Delaval Hall. The fire destroyed an entire wing of the building, and left the central block of the hall a blackened shell. This event, held on the 3rd of January was, despite the seasonal weather, sold-out and received wonderful feedback from audiences.
The event included an outdoor trail, a theatre show, and a riddle for audiences to solve. There were also marshmallows, fire eaters, hot food and drink, and live music.
